Rug Centre is the web based retail outlet together with Curtain Centre owned by Skelton Imports Co Ltd. The Rug Centre showroom, located centrally in Paphos between the seafront and the old town, was opened in 1997 to cater for the growing demand the local housing market had created. Originally just selling rugs (hence the name), the business soon grew to include fitted carpets, vinyls and laminate flooring. We then added curtains and blinds to our range - especially the coated type needed for the protection against the extreme heat and UV in Cyprus. Many of our clients found that the beds available locally did not match their needs. This prompted us to investigate suppliers who could manufacture quality, UK- style divan beds. A suitable manufacturer was found and we can now offer a range of twelve mattresses, including the pocket spring type. Our overriding aim is to offer high quality products and services at affordable prices with the accent on a personal, friendly approach.
